A SPECT image (coronal, sagittal, and axial planes) obtained with a [123I]epidepride and b [123I]IBZM. The color scale is in KBq/ml. Note the superior quality of the image obtained from the [123I]epidepride experiment in terms of a better anatomical delineation of the striatum and the highest binding of the radiotracer (the color scale of the [123I]epidepride image ranges from 0–10 KBq/ml, while the [123I]IBZM image ranges have a much lower binding, ranging from 0–2.5 KBq/ml)
