Hypermetabolic network - SPM group analysis (uncorrected). Comparing all PET exams (n = 19) to age-matched pseudo-controls using uncorrected p < 0.001 and 50 voxels threshold, significant hypermetabolism extended bilaterally through the occipital (primary and associative occipital areas), temporal and frontal cortices as well as thalamus, basal ganglia (caudate, putamen, pallidum, subthalamic brainstem) and cerebellum (vermis and hemispheres)
