Myocardial uptake is very similar in control animals as compared to the insulin-injected animals, but in the skeletal muscle, more FDG uptake can be noted after insulin injection. In fasted animals, myocardial FDG is markedly diminished. Sagittal (top) and transverse (bottom) views of one mouse of each group obtained 45-60 min p.i.
