Metabolic rate of glucose consumption decreases in all cases when suppression is applied. However, when using heparin only (BL1), there is no significant difference from before suppression to after. It should also be noted that in the infarcted tissue, metabolic rate of glucose (MRGlu) does not decrease as much as in the remote tissue even though their starting points are similar
