Example of a 72-year old patient with biochemical recurrence (PSA 1.76 ng/ml at the time of imaging). There was no tumorous lesion detectable on early-phase 68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT (A) because of obscuration due to the tracer in the urinary bladder. Late-phase 68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT performed after emptying of the urinary bladder (B) however, revealed the local recurrence in the seminal vesicles (white arrow)
