  1. For each VOI, mean activity and maximal (Max) activity were used. The mean and standard deviation (SD) for these ratios are also indicated. Individual ratio values were calculated between the injured tissue (IT, necrotic and inflammatory) and the two reference regions, contralateral (CL) and ipsilateral cerebellum.
