Anterior projections of aortal maximum intensity projection (MIP) images are shown from an IPPE control (A, B, E, F) in comparison to a APPE AAA animal (C, D, G, H). (A-D) display 18 F-FDG uptake, while (E-H) demonstrate 11C-PRB28 uptake at the aortic wall surface (scaled as SUV values; range 0 to 2).
