Mouse chest CT imaging post-pneumonectomy. Chest CT imaging in the transverse (A) and coronal planes (B, C) demonstrating the lobes of the right lung in a normal mouse (A, B, C). Based on chest CT imaging, the lobar volumes were calculated as their absolute volume (D) and percent volume (E) change in the 21 days after pneumonectomy. In comparison, the absolute weight (F) and percent weight (G) change in the four lobes were measured. CT lobar volume was calculated from representative scans of weight-matched mice.
