A patient with a left para-hilar NSCLC on pre-chemotherapy CT (upper right: simple white arrow) who presented with ^99mTc-HYNIC-annexin V uptake post-chemotherapy in the primary lung tumour (upper left: simple white arrow) and the right upper humerus bone metastasis (upper left: yellow arrow). After the first course of chemotherapy, diagnostic CTs showed a decrease in the primary lung tumour greatest diameter, which was consistent with an apoptotic tumour response to chemotherapy (lower left and lower right: simple white arrows).
